I’ve just added a couple of new charts into the Property Prices Portal that I think will help you to make sense of what’s happening in the Irish Property Market. They are on the “Scatter and Heat Charts” page. They both work using the filters at the top of the page which allow you to go back in time and compare a whole YTD v the previous YTD. In this case, because we don’t have much data yet for January 2022, I’ve chosen to compare the full year of 2021 from 1st January up to the last sale date of 29th December, with the exact same period in 2020. 2010 – 2022 Property Prices Data for Ireland
Diver BI Property Sales Analysis for Ireland is now getting 2022 data from the Property Price Register. If you haven’t visited our property prices portal for a while, you might be surprised at the changes in prices in your area, and the number of properties being sold. Covid certainly has had an effect on both a lack of properties available for sale and a steep increase in average prices, especially in Summer 2020. The gap has closed a little since then, with an easing of sales and a drop back in average prices in general – but take a look on the portal to see how your area is being affected.More
