In the survey, Dimensional Insight outscored all major BI vendors – IBM/Cognos, Information Builders, Microsoft, MicroStrategy, Oracle, QlikTech, SAP/Business Objects and Tableau – in numerous key categories:
- Goal Achievement: Users gave Dimensional Insight high scores in goal achievement in the visual analysis and data discovery peer group, indicating their BI deployments are fulfilling the goals originally set at the beginning of the project.
- Performance Satisfaction: Users indicated a high level of satisfaction with Dimensional Insight product performance.
- Customer Support: Dimensional Insight achieved the No. 1 ranking in vendor support in all peer groups in which it was featured. Users also gave Dimensional Insight high marks in Implementer Support. These scores indicate a very high level of customer satisfaction after the sale.
Speaking for the entire team here at Dimensional Insight and our network of partners around the globe, we are particularly proud of our high scores in the vendor support category, and that we rated No. 1 in vendor support in the three peer groups in which BARC evaluated us. We make a very concerted effort to ensure that our relationship with customers continues well past the sale. Our consultants and sales team and partners are focused on ensuring Diver Solution users and customer organizations are deriving real value from our solution.
One data point from the survey that demonstrates value is that 26% of personnel within Dimensional Insight customers use The Diver Solution. That’s nearly twice the average penetration of 15% for all products measured in the survey.
The BI Survey 13 compiled feedback from 3,149 end users about 30 different business intelligence products. It asked several questions to measure business benefits and the success of deployments. BARC featured Dimensional Insight in three peer groups: “Dashboard Vendors,” “Ad-hoc Analysis Vendors” and “Visual Analysis and Data Discovery Vendors.”
